Healing with Wisdom

Over the years my health approach has evolved as I gain knowledge from different sources. In the beginning it was an awakening brought about by a sensitivity to gluten and a better understanding of the Atkins diet. My approach has evolved into a whole-foods nutritional guideline that continues to expand in the direction of better choices. My recent interests have been in the Weston Price Foundation and the Paleo diet. I have incorporated essential oil supplementation in an effort to get away from the toxins in over-the-counter and prescription medications. As a Young Living Essential Oils distributor I want to share the healing that these oils have brought to my family.

I advocate for Healthcare Freedom because I believe that not one exact way works for everyone and we don't need the government to micromanage our lives. I advocate for food freedom because government interests and policy are influenced more by money and power than for what is best for each of us. I believe that when it comes to health and feeding ourselves, we can vote best with our dollar.

I support a low-carb lifestyle and while I respect many diets, including low-fat and calorie counting diets if they work for you; I DO NOT support crash diets, excessively low calorie diets (depending on activity level), or any type of "fasting" unless it is spiritual/religious or medically cleansing accompanied by a period of rest.
